When we come into a relationship with Jesus, God blesses us with faith that grows and matures as our lives unfold. In a variety of environments such as workshops, retreats and other special events, Next Step seeks to empower people to take the next step of faith on their spiritual journey. By focusing on areas such as discipleship, prayer and meditation, connecting faith with daily life, ethics and the moral life, women’s ministries, and others, Christ followers are challenged to grow and mature in faith. In conjunction with parent ministry, Kingdom Catalysts, Next Step also provides podcasts of the radio show, Making Life Matter, co-hosted by Maxie Dunnam and Shane Stanford and airing weekly on American Family Radio. MLM is a 30 minute Christian inspirational and teaching program connecting faith and daily living. Podcasts of MLM are available at Next Step each Sunday, as well as the MLM archive. Additionally, Kimberly Reisman and a variety of other bloggers provide inspiration, spiritual direction, and theological reflection. You can read Kimberly Reisman at What’s Your Next Step? The View From Here highlights the contributions of Bryan Collier, Mike Coyner, John Meunier, Joy Moore, and Jason Vickers. Finally, A Wesleyan Accent: Revitalizing Theology to Awaken the Church, provides theological reflection from a variety of young Wesleyan scholars.
