When we come into a relationship with Jesus, God blesses us with faith that grows and matures as our lives unfold. In a variety of arenas such as discipleship, prayer and meditation, connecting faith with daily life, ethics and the moral life, the interwoven nature of personal and social holiness, women’s ministries, and others, Next Step seeks to empower people to take the next step of faith on their spiritual journey.
Next Step tailors preaching and teaching events to meet the needs of congregations and other groups. Event design is collaborative and flexible. For more information, or to schedule an event, contact Kim Reisman.

Real Faith ~ Real World
So often our lives can feel as though they’re divided into sections that never overlap. We live by moving from one compartment to the next; closing the door to one aspect of life before opening the door to another. This fragmented experience is especially true matters of faith. It can feel almost as though spiritual things have to be kept separate from all the other things in our life. Often times the message of the world is that it’s okay to have a meaningful faith as long as you keep it to yourself. It may feel that way, but that’s not how it’s meant to be – faith isn’t real until it lives in the real world. By raising issues and providing opportunities for action, Real Faith ~ Real World seeks to connect the faith within us to what’s happening in the world around us.

Further, the Church’s weekly radio program was banned and the Church was ordered not to hold a service of induction for its President and General Secretary. Most recently, in the last few weeks the Church has once again been denied the right to meet. Read More.
